Independent determination of the Earth’s orbital parameters with solar neutrinos in Borexino

Since the beginning of 2012, Borexino collaboration has been reporting precision measurements solar neutrino fluxes, emitted in proton-proton chain and Carbon-Nitrogen-Oxygen cycle. The experimental sensitivity achieved Phase-II Phase-III data taking made it possible to detect annual modulation interaction rate due eccentricity Earth's orbit, with a statistical significance greater than 5$\sigma$. This is first precise measurement orbital parameters based solely on neutrinos an additional signature origin signal. complete periodogram time series detection also reported, exploring frequencies between one cycle/year cycle/day. No other significant are found. present results were uniquely by Borexino's decade-long high-precision detection.
